A couple years ago my Mom began a new tradition ... when one of the sisters turns 40 they pick a city and we all spend a weekend together to celebrate. We took our first trip a few years ago when Paula picked Chicago. This year it was Beth's turn and she chose Charleston. So the planning began back in the early part of the year and we arranged the timing around when Jen was in the country (not an easy feat) and off we went last weekend.

What a great time we had. Starting with the hotel ...

 

Off to the farmer's market Saturday morning ...

 

 

 

 

Then a plantation tour (Magnolia Plantation to be exact) ...

 

 

 

 

Dinner at an adorable place (at 10pm no less!) ...

And more shopping and eating ...

 

 

What a fantastic weekend (brought to us by Mom). Can't wait to see what city the next bday brings!
