Making Deposits in Our Memory Bank

A good friend taught me that phrase and I love the visual. I wanted to document a few of these "deposits" we have made recently ...

Playing in the rain. Before we left on vacation we got a long-deserved rain. It hadn't rained in so long and Maggie really wanted to play in it. So, why not? Both her and Ryan got dressed and headed out!
This week we visited the Children's Museum and got to see the new Playscape! It has been closed for what feels like forever and since Maggie only has about a year left to play in there (it goes up to ages 5), we took full advantage of it!
Yesterday Maggie and I spent the day in Richmond, Indiana on a scavenger hunt of sorts. They recently created an "Enchanted Fairy Trail" and visitors are encouraged to go around to the 35+ locations and find the over 40 fairy doors and gardens! Maggie had a ball. She grabbed some wings, a wand and a crown and off we went.
Oh and we packed a few little items to leave behind for the fairies to use!
It was a really fun day! So glad to have this time with Maggie and be able to make the "deposits" that will hopefully last a lifetime. :)
