HOLIDAY WORLD and Spencer County!

Fall is totally and completely on my mind. This last weekend, my good friend Mandi, her daughter Audrey, Maggie and I headed down to Southern Indiana to take full advantage of their Family Fall-o-Weekends. To say we had a great time is a huge understatement.

We were able to stay at Lake Rudolph campground in an awesome cabin and the girls loved the accommodations!
Saturday we spent touring some Christmas shops in town ...
 Love these cups ...
And we visited the Santa Claus Museum and Village where the girls got to write letters to Santa and they will receive a letter back in a few months!
Then we headed to Holiday World and even though we were there for over four hours, we didn't get to every part.
We made our exit so the girls could participate in trick-or-treating at the campground. Seriously, some people go all out. Not just costumes, but the camp sites too!
And since Holiday World was open in the evening, we grabbed the shuttle and headed back for more fun. Probably my favorite time there to be honest with you!
Sunday the weather was a bit of a downer, but we did squeeze a few things in. Like the Abe Lincoln National Memorial Museum ... (where the girls said the Pledge of Allegiance)
Frozen Hot Chocolate at Santa's Candy Castle ...
And a visit to St. Meinrad which was truly beautiful.
I don't know about Audrey, but Maggie slept great last night. I think she was quite tuckered out from the weekend's events. SO happy our friends were able to go and we got to spend such wonderful time together!
