Thursday night was pretty awful weather so all of the Indy area postponed trick-or-treating until Friday. (Which NEVER would have happened when we were kids ...)
However many indoor activities still went as planned. And lucky for me there was trunk-or-treating at the State Fair. Any excuse to go to the fair and I'm there! :) So we headed out with our neighbors.
And pumpkins. Ryan outdid himself this year!
It was pretty nice out the evening we set them outside and Maggie had been playing some type of pretend water game inside so this is what she sported when we put the pumpkins out!
Then last night we did the traditional trick-or-treating in our neighborhood.
Maggie asked after a block and a half if it was time to go home yet. She wanted to hand out candy. In fact she decided next year that she does want to dress up, but just wants to give out candy instead of going to get it. It doesn't hurt to have a kid that doesn't like chocolate. :)
Oh ... and the wings. I was going to have Ryan make some wings (since he is really the most creative of us), but we went to JoAnn Fabrics to buy supplies and found her wings for under $6. A steal, I tell you.
