It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year ... Harvest!

So we made a quick trip home earlier this week to spend some much needed time on the farm. It was so great to be back home again and enjoy harvest (my most favorite time of the year!!). You can see how much fun we had ....

Maggie loves being with the animals on the farm.
Ryan worked the land with Dad.
Of course I found multiple items of the same thing in Mom's fridge.
Mom even got out the mower (wouldn't be a trip home without that!).
Oh ... the farm suffered a loss (a common occurance when we go home). Cinders, the sheep, passed away. Carl (the llama) was her best pal and this may just be the last known picture of Cinders alive.
And we ate way too much. Mom made all of this for five adults/one child one evening.
A great time at home. So thankful I'm close enough for trips like this and so thankful for my Mom and Dad and all they do!

And, the farm loves you! Isn't it great? Nothing like "working the land" and storing food in the same containers! :) Darci
