My Mom has worked with Veggie Tales for several years now. If you don't know, Veggie Tales are a series of videos that have talking vegetables that teach stories from the Bible and lessons for kids. My sister Paula used to work in their marketing department and got my Mom hooked up with them and since then Mom does writing for them in a variety of capacities.

Part of her job is to represent Veggie Tales at different conventions throughout the year. One of those conventions is MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). This year Mom asked if I would want to travel with her to Dallas to help man the booth and get paid a little extra for my trouble. So, we met down in Dallas and worked several long days at the booth, but had a great time!

Here Mom is with Jen's best friend from high school, Edwina. She lives in Arizona and attended the conference! It was great to see her!


One of my Taylor friends Christina (Hart) Andrews lives in Indy and attends the same church as me. However, we haven't seen each other in over a year. Kind of sad that we had to be in Dallas to get to catch up!
