Getting Hartzlered

Definition: When someone else is over-organized to a point that it directly affects something you intend to do.

Examples:

1) You are staying at someone's house and you are using their towels. Once you get out of the shower you get dressed and go back into the bathroom to finish getting ready. You get your hands wet and go to dry them only to find your towel has already been taken downstairs to the laundry.

2) Again, you stay at someone's house and you finish getting ready. You go to put your shoes on but can't find them. You ask where they are and you are told they are packed and in the car already.

3) You go to put on deodorant, but alas, this item you use every day has been packed in a bag with other things for the hospital in case your wife goes into labor.

4) You are at church and filling out the pastors notes. You finish the last blank on the page and the person you borrowed a pen from starts collecting it and putting it away immediately. 5 minutes later, the pastor asks you to write something down.

If these things happen to you, simply proclaim "I Got Hartzlered!" and people should know what you are talking about. Then, promptly call someone else that has experienced this situation to make sure that it is true and to allow them to commiserate with you. Preferably, this person should be someone with direct knowledge and extensive experience dealing with this.

If you or someone you know has been Hartzlered, please let us know. If you think you may be Hartzlering someone on a regular basis....please stop.

stumbled on this through the round-a-bout way of blog rolls.... Good luck Carrie, you look great - the same as you did in India - only more comfortable .... America will do that to you, even pregnant! :)

I think you should just give up...you have the next 50 years at least of this...and your offspring will follow suit!
