Cut and layout turtles on said cookie sheet ...
Cook the caramel (a job for only Grandma Bitner) ...
Pour caramel onto turtles ...
Get your dipping forks ready!
After dipping turtles, place them on a plate in the freezer for just a few minutes (or the chocolate will get all icky looking) ...
Voila ... finished turtles ... 550 of them to be exact!
