We had a small change of plans. We were supposed to head to Ruby's Resort this weekend. Ruby's is a beach side resort about 2.5 hours away from KL. On Thursday we got a call from Ruby herself telling us that they were having bad weather and it didn't look like it was going to clear up. Since most everything to do revolves around the beach there we opted to stay back in KL.
So we've spent some time doing some shopping at the local malls.
We had a beef jerkey type "snack" at the mall made out of ham ...
Saw some Christmas decor (it is hard to get in the spirit here when you are sweating and hear "Dreaming of a white Christmas") ...
Since their school year begins in January, all the back to school specials are out. Do you think we could pass for Malaysian natives?
We keep seeing these everywhere here and are curious how they are still in business?!?
And the kids cooled off after the park with popsicles!
Side story ... Ryan was pretending to play a synthesizer at a local store as it was in demo mode. All of the Asian shoppers thought it was actually him and stopped to watch.
